Aloha,
Welcome to the web art studio and gallery of Maui oil painter, Sue Perry.   Her real life home and studio are located on 2 acres at the 4000 ft. elevation of Haleakala Volcano.   The view from her easel is of the West Maui Mountains, the islands of Lanai and Molokai and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.   Just outside her front door are several flower gardens that she loves to tend and uses many of the blooms in her popular floral paintings.   The daisies are her favorite to paint, and  they seem to be blooming just about all year round.    For those of you who have met Sue, I don't have to tell you about how much she enjoys painting all that Maui has to offer.    Her enthusiasm seems to come out in the artwork.    If you don't know her and have not had the chance to view her paintings in person, then I hope that you will take a few minutes to look through the pages of this website.   I think you will enjoy the time spent and perhaps be inspired to come and meet her in person at one of her shows or  at home in her studio."
   About the artist
At 12 years of age, Sue  took the first of many art classes.  An art major in school, she continued her education by taking workshops and classes from  many professional artists . Sue moved to Lahaina  with her husband and two children in 1970 and continued studying with teachers whenever possible.  She graduated from the Honolulu based Foss School of Fine Arts in 1984.  Another move, this time  to Kula,  Sue farmed protea flowers and produced crafts to sell at fairs.  In 1990 she gave up farming and began selling her oil paintings.  It has been nonstop from that time on, and her art has been purchased by art lovers from the U.S. and countries worldwide.  Sue loves to paint these beautiful islands and is thrilled when someone selects one of her paintings for their collection.
